Refund policy
At Blue Dahlia Designs, we want you to love your pieces as much as we do! We have a 30-day return policy*, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
*The following items are Final Sale and NOT eligible for exchange or returns: artwork, mirrors, light fixtures, rugs, food items, custom floral arrangments, seasonal items, gift cards, and clearance items.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened/unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. Return or exchange requests must be made within 30 days of the delivery date. We do allow additional time during the Christmas season for non-seasonal merchandise. Returns/exchanges do not include any shipping or handling charges, except in the case of faulty or damaged items. If the return is a result of error on our end, we will provide shipping label once customer service has responded to your inquiry. You will then be able to print a pre-paid USPS shipping label. Print the pre-paid shipping label, affix it to you package and take the package to a USPS drop-off location. Any other return labels will not be provided by Blue Dahlia Designs.
To start a return, you can contact us at a.mangan@bluedahliadesigns.net. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a RMA number to include on your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Returning an item is at your own risk. You must ensure that the item is adequately packaged and, at your option and cost, insured. We are not liable for damage caused by inadequate packaging by you or if the item is damaged or lost while being returned to us. Items that are damaged when we receive them will not be eligible for refund.

EXCHANGES
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
DAMAGES AND ISSUES
Although we do thoroughly inspect all shipments before sending them off, damages can sometimes occur. We ask that you inspect your pieces immediately upon receipt and notify us of any damage ASAP so we can take the appropriate measure to rectify the situation. Please also take pictures of the box and any damages that may have occurred. Damages must be reported within 10 days of delivery to be eligible for refund or replacement.
Once proof of damage is receieved, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
STOLEN PACKAGES
Currently we ship via USPS Priority Mail. We are not responsible for any items that go missing during transit or are misplaced upon delivery. We can require a signature for receipt of package, if you would like this please ensure that you email a.mangan@bluedahliadesigns.net at the time of your order.
CANCELLATIONS
You can cancel your order up to 24 hours after purchase as long as your order has NOT been processed for shipment or is a SPECIAL ORDER. All special orders are considered final sale and cannot be canceled, exchanged or returned for any reason.
REFUNDS
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. Returns/exchanges do not include any shipping or handling charges, except in the case of faulty or damaged items.
